Dr. Joachim WedekindHolds a Master´s degree in biology and received a doctorate in social sciences at the University of Tübingen. Since 1975 research and development in the area of Computer Assisted Learning, problem solving, simulation and modelling. He has run recent development projects for teacher training, and graphic interfaces for educational model building systems. At present deputy-head of the Department of Applied Cognitive Science at the DIFF. He has written about 50 publications, including four books (see also Publication List ). Received the German Academic Software Award Mathematics 1991 with the model building system MODUS .
